Linpus to Show its New Product Range at Cebit

At Cebit 2010, March 2nd to 6th, Linpus, a leader in the field of open source software solutions for mobile computing and the mobile web, will be showing a number of new products and upgrades at their booth 111, Block D38, Open Source Park, Hall 2.
Linpus Lite - Linpus Lite is our highly successful netbook product specially designed to deliver a better mobile internet experience. The last edition introduced, LiveDesktop, a function delivering and organizing your latest online information, messages, pictures and recent activity to your desktop. In this latest edition, Simple Mode's easy-to-use tab and icons menus have been reworked to give you the choice to completely organize your applications, your way. All the default menu tabs can be renamed and the applications inside freely moved around by dragging and dropping. You can also create an additional three tabs by right clicking on the menu bar and choosing the option from the pop-up menu to create a new tab. The right click menu also has an option to let you choose or change icons for new and existing tabs and view all applications.
Additionally, they have worked hard to create a sophisticated personalization application so Simple Mode themes can be changed.
Arm – We have worked closely with our hardware partners to develop a version of Linpus Lite for a host of mobile processors and smartbooks.
Desktop – The new edition of Linpus Multi-desktop has 3 different user interfaces: PC Mode, Simple Mode, and Moblin, designed to be quickly swapped between. It also has intuitive and exciting Clutter based UI with 2D and 3D animation effects, such as rotating, sliding, and bouncing. And supports compiz 3D desktop effects such as translucent windows, 3D desktop capabilities, shadow effects, motion effects and animations.
Instant On – The new edition of of QuickOS has had a radical overhaul to ensure you can choose an application in three seconds and online in 10 seconds.
