Linpus™ offers a powerful, flexible and graphically outstanding Linux operating system alternative for smartbooks

Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas, January 7th 2009 – Today, Linpus Technologies, Inc. announced that they have developed a version of their latest Linpus Lite product, Linpus Lite LiveDesktop, for the Nvidia T20 processor. This edition of Linpus Lite will be on display at the CES Nvidia booth, South Hall 4 #35912 .

Linpus Lite is one of the most successful Linux products in the mobile computing and netbook space. Specifically designed to improve your online experience with a super-intuitive user interface, it also delivers strong multimedia and productivity capabilities you'd also expect from a desktop system. The last edition of Linpus Lite, Linpus Lite LiveDesktop, included a specially designed desktop with modules delivering live key information: recent websites and objects, as well as your latest email and messages from your online mail and social networking sites accounts.

“This edition of Linpus Lite has been developed in response to demand from device manufacturers,” said Rita Jing, vice-president of sales. “We have worked closely with Nvidia and Foxconn to create a Linux solution that is graphically exciting as well as powerful.”

You will be able to see this edition of Linpus Lite on a smartbook from Mobinnova™ with the Nvidia T20 processor, which offers full HD support, ultra low power consumption, and 3D graphic capability, among other things.
