Linpus brings launcher application to Android delivering more options to launch applications within one tap

Taipei, Feb 21st – At MWC, Linpus, a leader in the field of open source software in the consumer space, will be officially releasing their Andorid launcher application – as well as demonstrating their Windows 8 touch gestures application and a host of other mobile applications. Linpus, one of the most successful open source vendors in the notebook and consumer device market, has recently added Android and Windows 8 applications to its product range with a Keyboard Series, a weather application, Linpus Gestures2Launch and now their Linpus Launcher, among others. 

Linpus' focus with Linpus Launcher was to provide more ways to shortcut apps and to access those shortcuts quickly within one or taps.  Linpus has achieved this objective through their Quick Launch Panel, an additional tab where apps and actions can easily be added. Quick Launch Panel solves the problem of additional tapping and clutter through its innovative method of being launched: just shake or swipe up from the outside of your screen area. 

“As a company we have always been laser focused on UX design,” said Rita Jing, vice-president of sales. “Since starting to develop apps for Android we felt we could put that experience to good use with a launcher application. Linpus Launcher is not only faster but offers some unique customization options.”

In addition to the Quick Launch Panel, Linpus Launcher has a huge number of other features focused around making it easy to personalize your device for the fun and specific functionality that suits you best. For example: it is possible to add different wallpapers to your home screen and application screens so you can make the most of your children's or pet's photos; configure application pages; choose between a number of transition effects, add widgets to the dock and easily add different Linpus and 3rd party themes.
