Linpus updates Android weather application giving you improved multiple weather tools for planning your leisure time or a trip

Taipei, Nov 11th – Linpus, a leader in the field of open source software in the consumer space, announced a number of updates for its Android Weather application available for download from Google Play. Linpus, known for its highly successful Linux distribution, Linpus Lite, and innovative operating systems and applications for a range of consumer products including tablets, TVs and netbooks. However, recently, it added Android applications to its product range with a Keyboard Series and a weather application. Linpus' focus with Linpus Weather was to provide the most complete range of tools for to plan your social life based on the weather.
Since launching about six weeks ago Linpus Weather download volumes have seen rapidly accelerating week-on-week growth on the back of excellent reviews, and a 4.3 average rating. The improvements added recently include:
1. Additional localization for Taiwan (Hsinchu, Miaoli and Taichung)
2. Added numbering for weeks of the year
3. Longitude & latitude unit in French and Czech fixed so that the APP can now get city ID number via satellite (Dynamic search location).
4. Modified the font size of the date and Sunny Day wallpaper
For new users, Linpus Weather is actually designed around helping you with your trip and outdoor social life plans in several key ways: weather is not ideal where you live, it automatically lists out weather for places around and nearby you; planning outdoor activity, you can get lifestyle information for nearby you so you know if it is good day for mountain biking, boating, the beach or bad for hay fever; and, if you are planning any kind of trip, set up another page for that trip and also get all the nearby weather and lifestyle info for that location too.
